Sharing Art With Others
Creativity begins as a solitary endeavor. Writing, painting, dancing singing, all begin in private. It’s rare that an artist would store the finished piece in the closet.
I don’t think that presenting the completed work is about an ego boost. It’s to share experience with the community, hopefully one of joy, or discovery, an experience that unites us in some uplifting, compelling way.
My paintings can be found at ‘Relish’, on Baker Street in Nelson, BC. They will be there through the summer. If you find yourself in the area drop in for a visit.
